Thank you to all of you for the great comments.
tpoc - After the closing date I discovered that my monitor is extremely bright which caused this shot to come out too dark on monitors calibrated differently.
And yes it is a true reflection, the page was placed in between two keys and help up while being backlit. |

i feel like this photo is just a bit too dark. it becomes hard to pull the reflection of the music off of the keys except in one section of the photo...
grand idea, though! : ) |

Creative. :) I really like the black and white approach- adds a sense of drama. Love the reflecting sheet music, so subtle, and yet so striking... Nice. :) |

Nice idea!
Would be even better if the reflection was a little bit darker, I think. Maybe "polish" the keys first? Very nicely composed, too. |

This is cool. Great correlation between reflection and reflector... 8 |

Cool idea! Did you think of scanning or photographing the music, then creating a mirror image and using that for the reflection? Just a thought. Nice image. |

Love the music reflected in the keys and the soft focus you achieved....such an understated shot that stands at the top in this challenge. Great job --10-- |

Very cool! Original and talented in concept. A bit over-ponderous due to the excess of increasingly black tones on the left 1/4th of your canvas. Keeping this light and bright would have made a merrier composition, which this fights to become. 7 for all the goodness that is displayed in this melodic piece. |

Nice. I am curious how you did this. |

This is a really great idea, very original. Very nice use of repetition with the keys, also. |

Appreciate the twist on the 'ol piano key in perspective. Think this could benefit from a greater range in tone, this seems to come out really grey. |

Love it, the black keys could have been morepolished, but saved by the notes! Nice capture!! |

nice...but the keys dont seem quite that sharp to me. also the other half of the notes reflect outside of the piano keys which doesnt flatter it too much, but i do like how you reflected te notes in the piano keys. |

Is the music really reflecting off the keys? I think a tighter crop would have been better, focusing on the keys with the clearest reflection. |

Love that piece of music. I wish the keys were tack sharp though. Hmmmmm |

what a fantastic imaginitive almost poetic idea. i really hope it doesn't suffer from the thumbnail view. |
