This image demonstrates the insidious nature of the homeless in today's urban centers; how even certain social service-oriented organizations and groups such as community churches and shelters cannot properly assist all whom need assistance to get off off the streets of the urban landscape.

I don't really see this picture on the front of US News and report. IThe lighting is very bright and makes your subject washed out.

What os the main point of this shot "Mail and Deliveries" or a person wrapped in a blanket? Person seems peripheral here. Needs to be higher in picture. Take shot from closer to ground next time.

The blanket of choice sems a bit wrong..... A longer shot might have been more appropriate.

The focus of this picture would work much better if the person on the floor was more of the subject. I feel like the colored blanket is a distraction the way the picture was taken.

I can't help but notice the pee trail some dog must have delivered on the door in this picture. With a topic so degrading and hopeless of the homeless, I can't help but laugh. Okay, seriously, I can see this picture featured in your magazine. Maybe not necessarily on the cover, but on the inside with an article about the state of homelessness from wherever this was taken.

Personally I do not consider magazines to be in a horizontal shape... thats just me though. I can't really see this as the front of a magazine... I'm not sure what the thing is on the bottom of the photo... I'm guessing it's a homeless person? Also the way you took the photo is kind of akward... not sure if it is the best way for the situation. Interesting statement though.
