| This shot definitely fits your title and the challenge. However, the ashes are just gross. Maybe a plain smoking cigar would fare better. |

| Wonderful macro - I really love the tendrils of smoke and the DOF. Only negative for me is composition - too close to centre to be centred but not far enough off centred (for my tastes) to be balanced as an off-centre. 9 (would be 10 with better composition) |

| Ahhhhh... I was going to try this mag for a cover shot. Dont have much to say except I dont think this setup makes the cigar or cigar-smoking look all that appealing. |

| I think this might have worked better in color as a magazine cover. Also, the cropping should be different to make it work for the challenge. |

| I could be wrong, considering I'm not a smoker... but doesn't this basically depict cigar smoking as a bad thing? I would think that a magazine that is promoting cigars wouldn't want to show ugly ashes, along with a cigar being snuffed out. |
