The bit of horizontal foreground is probably unnecessary. I know it is difficult to balance the light in this type of subject but I think you could have gone a bit lighter. Maybe shot the photo at dawn or dusk.

I think I'd prefer one step further forward - I feel like I want the boards to run off the end of the picture. I love it though, really makes me feel like I'm in the bridge, though doesn't make me see the 'wide' lense.
