Challenge: What? (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Lens: Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Location: The Great Wall at Jin Shan Ling
Date: Oct 15, 2005
Aperture: f/8
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/125s
Galleries: Landscape, Travel
Date Uploaded: Oct 17, 2005

Shot visualized and composed by Martin Puddy of Getty Images. We (myself and my friend who is in the picture) happened to meet up with him on the great wall at 5:30 in the morning and got to talking. He needed some help with the modeling so he didn't have to do everything by himself, so my friend helped out and I took a couple shots myself.

Nice concept but the cowboy is hardly noticable.

I can't figure out what this has to do with "What", but I really like the shot.

If you shoot the Great Wall, please do it better, to show some respect to the hard work ancient Chinese has put on. 7

With a little tweaking, this could be more interesting. I think the lighting is too harsh. The guy gets lost amidst all of the busy of the shot. Maybe if he had on a red shirt, he'd stand out more. I think the shot is a tad overexposed. Maybe adjust curves to enrich the overal tones of it. Hope this is helpful.
