Challenge: Reflections Without Mirrors II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Olympus E-20N
Location: Home
Date: Oct 18, 2005
Aperture: 2.4
ISO: 80
Shutter: 1/20
Date Uploaded: Oct 18, 2005

I wanted to do this shot for a long time, this challenge was perfect for my idea. I wanted it to look like my daughter was looking out a window [ which is our big screen TV ] with very emotional and heartfelt feeling. It was a little trying at times for she wanted to keep laughing and I used white corn syrup for the tears that she wanted to lick off her face! Overall I am pleased with the shot, I think that I achieved a very heartfelt picture.

Soft and warm color which adds to the delicate appearance of the child.

Wow. I have no appropriate comment, other than that. The tears and her expression look very real, and if they are your timing is awseome. If not, she is a very promising model/actor. Either way, you get full score from me on this one.

Oh, how emotive. Beautiful lighting. Great tones. They
fit the subject. The mirror image is hauntingly emotive
in itself. Thank you for sharing. Great job.

I love the idea of this. The skin tones are a tad too yellow/red. Maybe work on the desat or convert to black and white. If she were tack sharp - this would be a real winner.
