I was totally bummed when I got home from vacation to find out that I had been disqualified. I know it's my fault for not paying closer attention to the submission rules but still disappointed nonetheless. It was doing better than my other two challenge entries.
Anyway, I'm guessing they requested validation because the picture looks dodged and burned. The fog effect was created by running the picture through neat image three times. The original image had a lot of noise. It would have been perfect for the grain entry in its original state. The only other processing I used was channel mixer, auto levels, and auto contrast.

This is a LOVELY "print". I can imagine it also with grain, int he grain challenge. |

Very cool. I like this alot. It suits the challenge and the season! The lone tree with the diminished figure (apparition?) is really interesting. I like it!!! |
