 I was paddling up our canal and found this lonesome apple hanging over the water. Clinging to the slippery mud banks I was able to capture this shot.

nice. almost wish that it could have been a tighter shot of the fruit and its reflection, without the tree reflections on the side...they're a bit distracting for me.

I gues you didn't have a chance to get a better angle to get the real apple and it's reflection closer. And blown out watter in top of your picture is also a problem.
If we had wings we would be able to solve all our composition problems.
Since we don't, I give ya 8 for this couse I love the red apple standing out.
