Nice concept. I'm kind of sorry to see the fan blend into the background, though - if it had been much darker, or otherwise stood out against the sky, it might have made a more imposing subject. The blurring of the fan blades - neither so much as to render them unrecognizable, nor so little as to suggest it's off - is nice.

Is THAT what's wreaking havoc with the jet stream ...?

Interesting illusion. I think the framing could've been better to not have so much dead area at the top of the frame. Not a lot either... I think trimming this to 1.5:1 aspect would've done the job. The focus could've been just a little better. The greyscale is interesting. Great idea.

Looks like the early (and I mean early) Steven Spielberg home films. Very creative.

very funny composition! How whimsical! I wish there was a bit more constract to bring in more defined lines in the clouds and in the fan.

Intriguing idea, especially the direction of the propellers! I like this shot a lot. I think it would improve with more tonal range. It all seems gray now; I'd like to see whites in the clouds and darker grays in the sky, etc. to add some more interest and drama.

I really like the idea of this shot but the execution is rather poor. It is just too dull. You need some color or more conrast or something to bring out the clouds.

Excellent concept, isolating the prop like that - not sure if it isn't a little too washed out though - more contrast maybe? - 8

Dang... that's a big fan! Interesting concept... nice composition. I may have preferred it in color, but I'm sure an equal number of people will say "nice use of B&W"... so that's just a personal preference.

Heh, interesting concept. The gray feel isn't very appealing, though.
