| This is a problem for me. I LOVE abstracts! I mean, I really love to exam them for what I can see of my own experience within their borders. But this one is shouting at me, demanding I see only what it wants me to see, like a giant 3 second billboard. The even-spaced, one third grouping does not let my eyes fill in any blanks. The heavy lines and ponderous colored sections yell, "Hey, look at me!" There are many who dig this bold stylizing, kind of like the Peter Max approach to abstracted elements. I am just not one. To me, subtlety speaks louder than jolts. But I certainly do appreciate your vision and willingness to explore that which is hidden beyond context. 6 |
