 Shot, crop, noise, and an hour of editing all of those tiny wheat hairs. I used Barley grain, Wheat, and 3 year old Wheat Beer homebrew from the cellar.

there's not enough grain in your grain for my taste - beautiful shot though - would like to see it without the desat, the placement of the mug and the bottle seem off to me, but I'd have to look at a stock book before I could tell you why. But great lighting and neat textures overall

I have a personal dislike of formally arranged still life shots. But, putting that aside, I like this one. The desaturation is effective and the warm sheaves work very well.

Nice double take on the challenge. The image has a nice old feel to it and the grain really suits the composition. Nice work.
