I like the composition and color of this, though the focus is maybe a little soft. Taterbug is right, this could look really cool in black and white, it's excellent for wood. Most of the dark areas actually work for me, I might even up the contrast a bit to give it a little more pop. |

Cool find. Nice composition. Although the colors and tones present set a good mood, might be interesting to try this in b/w or a tri-tone. Maybe it's just me, but I'd probably try tweaking the levels a little myself after auto adj. The dark areas do create a nice tonal range, but I think maybe if you tweaked the levels a little, especially the mids, it might add a little detail to those dark areas, and you get accent some highlights a little stronger. Good shot :-) |
