 Shot on macro with finger over 1/2 of flash to eliminate harshness. Pink color from side light. Cropped, color select-darkened black, grey scaled, brighten/contrasted a bit, and gray scaled.

FYI The moth was white with a light yellow abdoman, the antenni was black, background was totally white. The things you see are grays in shadows of white, of natural light and flash blocked by my finger over the flash. Thanks for the comments. Van

This is sure a furry moth - I'm glad it wasn't in our house, I hate moths. Looking at your picture gave me such a good idea for light on white, Van - I wish I would have thought of it for the challenge! My white (cream color, actually) didn't do that well, your furry moth has made me think of a really cool idea with a white mouse - wish I would have thought of it before.

I like close-up / macro shots and think that your photo lacks focus of the 'ghost's'
head. The image overall seems very busy to me with the different shadows.
The background isn't white either.

Nice macro, and very good use of the diagonal line in the picture.
Usually I would avoid too much weight in the center (the head), but it seems to work in this case.
