Like Pedro has said, I think the title of this shot lifts it up into a very personal image. The image itself is a little edgy and reportage-y, which is no bad thing! Excellent. |

Good focus, and it feels like you are extending your hand for a handshake. |

The off-center nature of the photo almost works for me, but cutting off the left eye is too much of a disconnect - it "feels" wrong to have the face truncate there. I'd like to see more of the face in the picture, a bit of blank black space to the right, but not as much as now.
Really nice lighting on this one. |

Really like the tones in this picture. The offset is a good touch, but I think you went just a little too far. Still very good. |

Interesting texture in the negative space, adds something. Shoulder's a little bit washed out. |

Nice to meet you, too! I like your position within the frame, and the cropping works well, too. Nice use of b/w. |

Nice angle and lighting. One thing bugs me is your shirt seems to be more in focus then your face. You must have moved. I always take at least 20 pictures just to make sure I get the perfect shot. good luck. |

oddly enough, it's the title that sets this apart. i rated this in my top 10 of the challenge. something very personal about it, and I can't tell if it's the title, or your expression. either way, good on ya. |

Nice to meet you to,
Interesting choice of framing. Looks like you face is slightly out of focus, or maybe a motion blur. The very blackness of the background is nice, but I think part of your sholder is a little too saturated. |

This isn't goofy or weird like other photos in this challenge (though neither is a bad thing), but I really appreciate your use of composition and light to make a marvelous photo. 10 |

Focus is lacking and I don't like the "in your face" shot. Also, your expression, or lack of one, is not warm and does not match your photo's title. |

Good portrait, cropped well. The light sepia toning works - 9. |
