 An unknown bird in the aviary at Astley Park - please feel free to tell me what it is as the park gives absolutely no info :-/

Shot through two layers of wire mesh, which vanished quite nicely, with this challenge in mind. Full 6x optical zoom plus the 1.5x tele-adaptor = very minor cropping.

Levels adjustment, resize & USM.

I love the composition of the bird - the prifile and crown of feathers, the sweep of tail feathers intothe bottom corner. The space to the left makes you feel the bird is about to waddle over turn around and get a better look a the viewer. All that works well for tis challenge. I wish yo could have gotten a better background - th wire mesh is alright because it is so blurry, but the bright bar across the middle is distracting.
