This could be a hard shot. The bird and background are close in color. A little better white balance on the background may help. |

Great shot....! My bird would have to be dead in order for me to get him to hold still for a photo like yours. lol |

How long did she sit still for this? Very nice shot. I even like the reflections from the natural light. |

excellent composition, but I wish the reflections weren't there on the glass. |

I like it. The budgie must be very tame, to accept sitting on such an unfamiliar slippery perch. Maybe the flash on his head is a little harsh. |

You know, after emptying that wine glass, I'm suprised that bird can still sit up straight! :) |

Wish you had used a different glass but then the tail is showing so nicely in this one! Lovely shot |

He's beautiful! Nice use of the glass for a rough idea of scale. And nicely exposed so as not to blow out the highlights. I like the reflections in the glass and the little catchlight in his eye. Nice shot! |

good image - I would move the glass/bird a dad to the right to get it out of the middle of the image. That would balance better with the bird looking to the left. |

Very nice. Love the use of the glass here so you could still see his tail. A bit of shine on the glass but works well to break up the white. |
