I like the sunset/sunrise effect, but the glare from the water is too noisy. Maybe soften it up a bit.

Horizon at the 1/3 position is good, but compositionally the sun is just to overwhelming.

Too much sun and uninteresting sky

Nice idea but I'm sorry, too much noise and a colour cast that I find a little unpleasant.

its a sunset
10/31/2005 11:44:10 AM
it's a sunset, and a grainy one at that.
10/30/2005 09:09:44 AM
Nice sunrise/set! but how is this delicate?
10/29/2005 03:17:01 PM
This does not convey delicate for me. The highlights are very harsh, and I am not sure what the thing in the foreground is.
10/28/2005 08:16:02 PM
Very noisy shot. Try Neat Image to get rid of that ISO noise. Apart from that, there's no main point of interest. Can't see the 'delicate' connection either.

this photo is a little too generic for my taste. nice placement on the horizon. the pipe/ log is a bit distracting.
10/28/2005 04:50:13 AM
There is nothing here that draws my attention. The branch or pipe could have had more of an impact by getting lower and being off centre, imo.
10/28/2005 04:34:09 AM
I'm not sure it matters. What matters is there's too much sun, to the point of spoiling what might have been an interesting shoot. Sometimes breaking the rules results in creative images, but other times not.

I like your picture. The only thing is, it's out of focus! A lot of places in your photo are not well defined. There is also a little glare from the sun that you can see. Otherwise than that, Good job!

A delicate distinction...

Well...which one is it? ;^)
