Greetings from the Critique Club
Cute image. As I'm looking at this I see several minor things that can be done to improve on it. First being the dog. You will have more impact on the viewer if you capture the dog looking directly at you or to the side, it show the strength of the dog. Here your dog comes off as temid.
The next thing you can easily correct is when you do your photos outside. The sun was too harsh here. The shoes are washed out and your "wall" is completely shadowed. Outside photography is hard to accomplish with perfection but two things to remember are the worst time to photograph is between 10am and 2pm the lighting is to harsh and you will have to many shadows and overcast days can produce the best outdoor photography moments.
As for meeting the challenge it seems a little weak most voters were looking for white on white.
Hope to see more of this dog. She looks like a pretty and photogenic dog.
Anna

I really liked this capture, wish she would have been on an all white background, think that would have placed this much higher. |
