Greetings from the Critique Club!

Your photo is properly exposed, well focused, and also well composed / framed. That's not the problem. The problem it seems is subject choice.

While being well photographed, the subject choice just isn't compelling enough to allow it a higher score. There's nothing to keep my attention, let alone something to make me come back and study it a second time.

The only thing I can recommend is choosing your subject wisely. If it isn't a compelling subject, it doesn't matter how perfect your photo is technically, it still won't hold the viewer's interest.

Not a bad idea. Compared with other entries, the subject matter doesn't hold my interest as well, but that's just me. I also wonder how this would have looked with a checkered background.

Yes, they are transparent, but It doesn't seem you used that fact to make the impact of the photo I guess. I like this well enough otherwise, but just doesn't have that extra punch or 'i don't know what' to get the job done.
