I really have to say this is one of my favourite eye shots ever...I have looked at it a few times and it is breathtaking..the blue makes me want to weep...wow! You did a great job Rikki

Very nice sharpness, colors, and I love the title! I suck at putting titles on my images, so most of the time I don't unless its a challenge. :(

Okay first off I'm kind of a sucker for these shots. To me, eyes are some of the most interesting and beautiful things to look at. My mother always told me to "look people in the eye" when they're speaking to you. Your shot reminds me of this knowledge she passed on to me. This is a wonderfully done study in this popular subject. I love the contrast of color between the color of the iris and the background behind your subject. Tack sharp detail makes this a perfect shot to me.

Nice one rikki-

The focus and dof are superior. The only thing I would re-edit is to try and get back some of the dark border around the bottom right side of the iris. Possible during editing the blue overlapped somehow, but who knows it may have been intentional?

speaking of good eyes -- this is by far the best image in your porfolio. Great focus, clarity, and colors. I would try to get rid of the red in the corner of the eye a bit if I were you.
