You are almost like a chameleon, making yourself "fit" the environment around you! Man - you look kinda creepy here. Next time I see a guy in a white shirt and geometric tie I'm running the other way!! |

great composition. like how the door provides a sort of negative space for the model (you!). the purple tone adds to the darkness, but i'm not so thrilled about what it does to the skin. like the grittiness, but if the goal is to convey an absence of desire, there's too much latent energy going on in the photo (imo). to me, the grain adds energy and the pose, looking off to the unseen, raises a lot of curiosity in me.
very groovy photo. |

Good composition and great natural expression. You have the grundgy look going there which works well for this shot. Only nit is it's a tad oversharpened in my opinion. |

Nice capture! Great expression. Nice tribute as well. The lighting is perfect which would be key for what you were attempting. Well done! |

Maybe a bit too dark, crop a bit off the top and left hand side? Interesting shot, very unhappy chappy! Not too sure whether I like it or not Hmmm.

I think its a bit dark and the purple cast doesn't work for me. Like the reference to Rammstein. But pretty cool self portrait. |

The darkness of the image doesn't bother me a bit. I think it's the purple cast that tends to make this image a love it or hate it shot. I for one am particularly inclined to this image. The darkness in you is coming out huh? Great self portrait. |

I'm in agreement on this. I think it's too dark and the colors just seem off too. If that's how you wanted it, then cool, I'll just have to say I'm not a far. And I'm not a fan of the subject's shininess, but I have to say, this is a pretty different photograph that what I normally see, so keep on doing what you're doing! |

I agree that it does have a somewhat metallic look to it. I rather like it depending on the mood you're trying to convey here. It looks somewhat harsh and rude...like you don't give a flying **** about our opinions anyway! LOL I'll bet it would also be interesting to try different color tones with it. I think I might like a bit more details of the background to stand out. Cool and different idea. |

Very interesting photo. I don't know how it would have done in the What? challenge ...
Non-what challenge take on the photo:
Interesting. Interesting tones, interesting textures. Almost looks like on-board flash, and it works for this photo. The pp hues and tones give a surreal quality, you look rather ... metallic.
Without knowing this was inspired by a band my first thought was - "This would make a cool album cover"
(When I scanned the title I thought it said "Kleine" instead of "Keine", which doesn't change the title enough to warrant commenting on it, even if you speak german - but I'll comment on it anyway)
I like the expression coupled with the PP - almost a forlorn look.
Nice photos all - well done.
Edit: speling

I am not sure about the exposure in this one, dark photos can work very well if the contrast is really high, the contrast here is not high enough to bring out the quality of this photo. |
