Beautifull Composition, this photo gives a kind of invitation to somewhere, from the light coming from the door in the baclground to the peacefull face of the child in the foreground. Great Job! Frozensun |

would have prefered this with a blank background. the blown out background is distracting to an adorable model. |

nice idea and portait, a little more thought could have gone in the set up of the background though. |

Snap shot feel. Background not that appealing (plain).5 |

Cute girl, so extremely off center really highlights her in her world--so I'd like to see just a bit more of it behind her (or relevant things from her world). Nice work! |

Choice B&W half portrait :-) The main subject is very in focus while the shallow DOF blurs out the background. Well done - 9. |

Wow. can't tell you what I like about this, but...wow. Taylor is an absolute angel, and you've captured her beautifully. the DOF is perfect, the reflection on her eye, lips and hair bring this photo to life. this is my fav of the week so far. well done. PLEASE - print this huge and hang it in your office or den. fabulous. 9.

Of all the faces this week, I found this one the most interesting. The negative space on the left looks like a dining-room table, or something that definitely indicates "home," which the title confirms. I like how this is cropped -- you don't feel like you are losing anything even though it's only half of the face. |

I love the shape of her lips/smile, and the wry curve of cheek in her half-grin. Good choice to blur out the background. |

Cute kid, or at least half a cute kid :) Nice detail of her face, and good use of DOF to bring her out. |
