Background detracts from the overall interest -- and, um, do you have three eyes in this image?

Bravo. Attractive enough, but what made this a winner for me was the sheer novelty of the concept. I like the idea of a person as a puzzle! (I also like the fact that you played fast and loose with either two puzzles or a double shot of yourself - the eyes in the upper right corner are nicely positioned and it took me a while to realize that with a third eye in the lower left, something was weird....)

At first I thought this was done in photoshop, then realized it must be a photo puzzle. Good Idea, I like the placement of the pices and overall image.

The idea is good (the second one I've seen though) but the quality of the shot is poor and possibly relies too heavily on the qulaity of your printed pieces. Composition could have been more interesting.

You know, I had the same idea but didn't post it. I'm glad you did.

There's a lot of pixellation here - not sure if it's the camera, the crop, the editing or what, but it takes away from the photo.

Interesting idea, i think the tiles should be in a way where i can make out your face, it just looks too scrambled, i love the idea.

This piece so much more than a photograph. The seemingly incidental composition makes child's play of the inherent complexity. Assymetries appearing in both, the puzzle pieces (i.e. the unusual triangular shapes) and in the background, add a welcome dynamic and coherence. Background hue and the considerable range of tonality here are sublte, yet aesthetically exciting. There is a wonderful balance between the various elements of this picture, which so often indicates an integrated and apt approach on part of the author. Not a baroque or self-conscious approach to the subject!

I consistenly reserve 10's for pieces I'd like to see alongside the 'classic greats'. This is one of them. It does, in my book, add interest to the word. > 10

creative but grainy. U know, I think it is possible to print this, cut it up and join it back to see your entire face in one piece. Can I ? Anyway, very creative and it's worth a 7
