| The rich dark dappled colors are a beautiful backdrop to the leaf. I think of it more as translucent but the water is transparent, to display what lies beneath. Nice. |

| If the transparency is there, I suspect it in the dark area which has become lost on my monitor |

| I really like the framing. The subtle dashes of colour in the rest of the frame really help set off the brightly (back)lit leaf. |

| hmmm, I think this is a great picture crammed into the wrong challenge. The branches behind the leaf take away from the image instead of adding. I would have enjoyed more if only the subtle shadows on the right of the leaf had been there. 6 |

| I like it and I see how it fits the challenge.. but it doesnt give me a wow factor. Not that, that means anything really. The clarity is great on the leaf and I like the lighting. |
