Since I didn't get to participate in the "Complimentary" challenge, I thought that I would take the opportunity to combine that with this challenge. It isn't what I first invisioned, but my first attempt looked too busy (Doh!...there goes that challenge).
For those curious about the background, it is a large piece of cardboard covered with several sheets of construction paper cut with an exacto to form the wavy edge. Then overlapped and secured with double sided tape.

Love the background lines and how you can see them through the vases. Nice lighting. I hope this does well for you. One of my favorites.

5 - Like the concept. Criticism; a different colored flower (and perhaps different type/shape) would have made this better, doesn't quite 'fit' in my opinion. The shot even without a flower may have even been better, perhaps with water in the vases (apologies if there is, can't discern it). The background colors are nice and especially so in the refraction, but again, the flower detracts in this shot for me.

I really like the solid look of the flower with the glass

For me, the background makes this shot work well. That and the contrasting color flower. If the vases were a bit more in focus (yeah, I'm one of those voters who likes sharp images) I would have scored it even higher. Very well done though, and good luck in the challenge. 7

I like the colors and I've never really minded centered compositions. 8

Really crisp. Just a couple of distracting reflections in the sides of the vases, though.

Interesting picture. Love the background and the effect on the vases. The flower is kind of drab to me but a nice texture.

personally, i would have left the flower out and made it all about the vases. The flower distracts from a very cool illusion. I almost missed the distortion for it.

i like this composition, but would have liked to see a different flower--one with a droopy stem that echoes the wavy lines. they make a great effect in the vases.

Tidy picture maybe a bit centred though
