Technically it's a very good photo, the lighting is good, the background is good, everything is well done in this shot. However, it's just not very exciting... DPC rewards people who go out of their way to really tell a story.

.My boss would love it. I work for Sprint but my phone isn't that clean.

I like the cloth in the background and on the table. The colour is good and the frame really suits. The elements in the pic are well placed and good. I think it doesn't come across as well as it could because the glass isn't in the same plain as the camera and hasn't shown up anything more exciting within it.

well, an interesting study, but perhaps there were better things within arms reach to photograph? It looks like you too time for setup and lighting, but why did you pick a cell-phone and what is the magnifying glass supposed to add other than challenge qualification? 6

i don't quite understand the significance of the placement of the magnifying glass in this photo. is the focus supposed to be the usb port?

Wonderful lighting, without that, this shot would be pretty easy to overlook. As it is, there's lots of texture. Well done.

I like the shadow cast by the magnifier. For me, I find the wrinkled background a bit distracting, but a good entry.
