It's a pretty picture, but I don't think that shutter speed type ghosts are really transparency. Too bad you couldn't have known that the shutter speed challenge was coming, this would be a very strong entry there, but it doesn't meet my definition of this challenge.

the title doesn't make sense to me, unless you're indicating that the dog is loyal even after death and the "doggie spirit" is watching over. but that doesn't make much sense to me, either.

Wow, Great picture. Love the ghost like appearance of the dog. The setting is just classic for this type of sceen. Nice use of space. Love the texture and colors too. Very soothing.

The blurring of the couch arm was the first thing that caught my eye. It's a nice concept and fairly well pulled off.
