Seems to be some blur, try a tripod.

Going for a soft focus? Night shots are hard for digi-cams. Most use IR auto-focus routines that need a certain level of light, just to work. The flames are a great effect and make wonderful, soft, redish shadows, this is a great concept. Photo 4 Creativity 8 Shadows 7 total 6

Nice shot here... I think that your model should possibly be positioned away from the center of the frame... In this case, maybe to the left a little bit :) good work! - jmsetzler

Could be a little sharper, Not bad though night shots can be tricky

the girl have this fenomenal exotic air and the fire its always beauty

Beautiful! Centering on the woman is an interesting choice... I feel like it would have worked better if she ws further to the left, but perhaps not. The darkness of the landscape and surroundings needs to be there for the mood. It's nice the way the left side is all dark and the right side is dominated by the fire, with her dividing the space that way.

I guess my overall feeling is that this photo could be better, but I still really like it.

Beautiful shadows from the fire.

Sorry, I just can't see any 'creative use of shadows' in this photo. But I realy do like the composition in this photograph, the focus could be sharper if your camera can be adjusted.

ok

Nice scene, great setting, but a bit blurry.

Wow. Better focus and cropped just to the left of the girl, and just above her head, and including the fire would have made this a better photo. But I like the nostalgia and daydream quality too.

This snap shot is way out of focus.
06/17/2002 06:03:00 PM
she would look better in focus
06/17/2002 03:07:00 PM
abit of cropping would make this a better picture

OOF

nice and blurry, no shadow, great choice!

I like the use of the blur effect. The blur gives this a nice warm mood. It fits into this photo very well.

I wish this were not so soft, but very pretty. closer without the fire would be very beautiful.
06/17/2002 11:49:00 AM
I really like the feel of this photo. Did you use a slow shutterspeed? THe fire looks like its exploding and the face is a bit soft.
06/17/2002 10:13:00 AM
Beautiful...wish it were more focused.

I really don't see shadows here, only darkness. And bluriness.
