 One display of many at "The Pumkin House" in Kenova, West Virginia.
The community as a whole comes together to carve the more than 1,200 pumpkins on display.

As a first year volunteer, I carved only the simple designs. 3 hearts, 5 letters (3 T's, 2 I's), and 3 of the dot border. Ric Griffith, the house owner, and other skilled volunteers did the more intricate work on this display. Pumpkins were all ready patterned for volunteers to cut, carved with crafting jigsaws, and then lit with large clear outdoor Christmas light strings.

Hey I was going to go here and help carve a pumpkin and the take a picture. Nice shot. You should have done the whole house though. That would have blown them all away.

While the photo is not the most technically pleasing, the sheer effort and gorgeous carving makes it a hit. I hope you had a group helping. Wonderful layout and design. 9
