 As great challenge as shutter speed is, this is the best I could come up with at this time. Perhaps a bit of litle time and many other things to do. But I like birds ; )

Lacks dramatic impact with the head obscured and the greyness of the water.

A shame you can't see the bird's head. The wingspan is beautiful, though. Amazing how you forget quite how lovely ducks can look! Great =;-)
