| Hello Michael, nice to meet you. This portrait doesn't make me feel that it's the kind Michael i know somewhat. Think the lighting has something to do with that. |

| Whew, you really need to adjust the color (Levels) and the contrast in this shot. The railing in the background is a little distracting also. |

Hello,
Halfway up the stairs? Strange location. Makes me think, does this have any meaning? I not particularly fond of the yellow cast here. Maybe if your Camera has some kind of white balance to compensate for the type of lighting. I also would have like to have seen the highlighted part of your face a little brighter The cropping is good.. |

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Yes, it sure did.
Lighting:pretty good....just a bit lighter or brighter would improve it.
Exposure:good
Focus:good
Creativity:the hat adds a little fun here.
Composition:good....eyes in the upper third
Background: Would be better without the bar to your right. |
