Interesting... very minimalist. It definitely has a mood to it. Can't think of any constructive comments I'd give -- lighting, composition, it's all very nicely done. |

nice shot, good composition and lighting, but honestly i will like it more if its black and white (just my opinion), still a great pix, congrats and good luck. |

There are lots of creative portraits in this challenge. This is one of them. It would fit well in the kow-key challenge to. I would have been tempted to title this one "Black and Blue" |

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Yes...so glad you included a good focus on your eye.

Technical?good

I think the crop could be better here. I guess you were going for the neg space thing, but based on your face in the frame, I don't think it works too well. Might want to crop out all the black on the right then crop so your nose is centered - more of a portrait orientation rather than a square. |
