| To me, it doesn't matter if a picture breaks rules as long as it works visually. And by that I mean, that it works on an aesthetic level for me, since I can't speak for anyone else. I love this picture. |

| Classically, far too dark. But, for me, it gains a really moody and arty feel. I think you were very brave to take the light so low, but I think it's a great shot. The image is a little bit soft, but nothing a little sharpening wouldn't put right. Fortunately, with such a dark image, there isn't too much that needs to be sharpened! A fabulous submission. |

| I can't help but wish there was a tiny bit more light on your face, since if I look hard enough I can see the outline of some of your facial features. |
