 Editing: levels, resize, unsharp mask, save for web.

Taken at the wildlife refuge near Monte Vista, CO. There were lots of birds around flocking up to fly south for the winter. The Sandhill Cranes let me get very close to take pictures but they were kind of dull - not doing anything busy.

Good concept, if not common. Good execution. I like your choice of shutter speed as it helps make the image seem more busy.

7 - Good shot and coloring. Criticism; not much, perhaps a slightly tighter crop at the bottom/fore but that grass/seedheads(?) add a good element in my opinion so not sure.
