Nice.

This is an excellent shot. I even like the stump and trees in the foreground.

The foreground element (stump, logs and the ridge you were on) make for a too powerful foreground element that sucks the life out of you backgound and major element, Mt. St. Helens. The lack of any middleground element gives the image an overly compressed feel from front to back. A good candidate for a re-shoot. Looks like a pretty desolate area even after 25 years.

Seems like a wonderful giant mountain is squeezed into a small box. Your composition is nice and clean though.

I think if you had moved closer to the stump(?) on the right and used a shorter focal length, this photo would be much more dramatic... it's got potential, but as it is, it's rather static. if you could have made that beam into a line leading the eye toward the mountain from the foreground, I think that would have been interesting to see. still - better than many - 6

hmm... beauty... clouds are in the perfect place there... how much time did you wait there for them to be there... hehe... 8

Seems like it's a little too equally divided in half, vertically. I might have tried it with a little less sky. Cool vantage point, nonetheless!
