I have been interested by textures and shapes in parkings and I like the one in that shot. All the lines are crossing in a very structured way. I like the zones created by the lines. I am the only moving part and the only life in the picture.

Many conventional 'mistakes' can combine a unique photograph... :-)

Hey!! Why are all my favorite shots at the bottom this week? I only gave this an 8 but now I wish I had scored it higher.

Since, it was a self portrait challenge. I think you should have focus closer to you. I focus more on the white washed wall then the two rails then the fence and finally, you.

I don't really "get it," though I do wonder how you got there before the auto-timer went off. :)

Strangely appealing but I want to crop a lot off the top.

I like a lot your picture. Good work on paralel lines here. Even horizontal, vertical or diagonal, the composition remains neat. The colours, although a bit improbable, give me a feeling of comfort. It seems you work very well with abstract images.
Good luck.

This may be a photo of you, but to me, it doesn't really fit the definition of a portrait. Even if I weren't considering that in my rating, the picture as a whole doesn't do much for me. It seems out of focus and since the focal point (you) is so small, dark and undefined, there's not much to look at.

Im assuming that you hit the timer and ran around the parking structure before the timer finished but at least you could have stopped and at least been in focus for the shot.

Like this shot very much. Great textures and enigmatic set-up.

Excellent idea and framing with vertical thirds - wish I'd been as adventurous! - Only thing I don't like is it looks a little washed out. IMO a little more colour/constrast would have lifted the whole scene - well done for an 8
