 Not much to say about the picture. Took it in raw and just screwed around with the colors until I got what I liked. And oh yeah I used some adjustment layers (curves, selective color or something like that) a little to make the color of the northen lights a little more noticeable.

The city lights are distracting to me, but overall this is a good composition with excellent color. 8

GREAT photo. so far one of my favorites. I love the color of the sky and how the stars are shinning, the city lights and how very clear this photo is. should do very well

my favorite of the aurora pictures I've seen so far - this actually uses the lights as a compositional element rather than simply taking a picture of the lights themselves and having the rest of the picture basically be 'extra.'
