In this age of mass communication and high tech 'connection', it is amazing how easily we can fall out of touch and disconnect . I think this is especially true with photographers, as we live on the fringes of other peoples lifes a good deal of the time.
A large amount of solitude can be a creative salve or a dead end.

I can relate to what you are saying with this image; I wouldn't call it over-processed, maybe highly processed, but the final look is appropriate to the message; it deserved to score better.

This is very emotive. I love the light and shadows (dodging/burning?) and the colors. Well done!

Such a sullen and lonely look on her face. Wonderfully composed.

gorgeous portrait. My fav so far! A nice "lost" look to the model. Excellent shot with what looks like multiple light sources.

She's too attractive to give a dead appearance. Nice photo

More of a depression than a ded end, but a good study.Maybe more empties would get the feel across a little better?

I like this image, but it seems a little overprocessed. I think you have a good eye and would love to see this same shot a little more natural looking. Otherwise the expression, composition, and overall mood is excellent.

Great interpretation - the expression/emotion really comes through.
