this is a pretty nice shot, though it may be just a tad dark in the shadows. maybe a brighter tie would help accentuate what (according to the title) is part of the subject of the shot. good focus and contrast with the hands. overall a well composed shot. 7.

I think that just one hand in the shot (the one under the tie) would have improved this and made the first glance more intriguing. Nice though. [6]

Smart idea, carefully and skilfully done. I am not sur all of us will see the tie, perhaps just a micro tad to dark. 9
In the course of my life, the people that have appeared to me as the most blatantly disrespectfull of all were all tie barers. let us find alternate ways of showing it.

I really lilke the concept here - framing, tones spot-on. The only thing I think could have improved it would have been the choice of tie - 80s Black Satin would have worked even better! - well done 9

huh? mark of respect? a tie? nice picture, actually one of the best i've seen so far, i just don't really agree with what i think the title means.
