A friend's antibellum home is adorned with 2 lone rocking chairs. I loved the look.

Great photo! Reminds me of my younger days while living in the US...

Perhaps a slight rotate to level the varandah edge, and some more symetrical cropping to better utilise the pillars as framing. Good country feel.

I get kind of dizzy looking at this picture because some of the lines are crooked. Nice subject, and good making it b&w.

nice - but the chairs seem overshadowed by the buiding. I might have cropped some of the top of the building so the chairs were more of the focal point.

great lines and composition. It would be perfect without the chair behind the left pillar.

I like the horizontal and vertical lines with the natural framing of the columns. Good shot!

nice idea.. nice colors.. a recommendation: may be the wood floor is more interesting than horizontal wall lines.. and left column is so distracting.. you should try to re-take this photo. =)

Shot a bit too low. We don't see the rungs of the chairs and this is not good. The pillars and widows are more visible. Also your focus and tones are very nice.

definitely country.

Really like the angle of this shot. I know the chairs are your subject, but all those lines fight with the window for attention; might have been simpler without the chairs. Effective use of border - especially considering DPC's gray background.

great image!

not enough distinction between chairs and background
