Harsh light is the biggest thing of note here. May want to revisit this shot in sunrise/set lighting. Composition is ok, but I don't get an overly strong feeling of Dead End here.

beautiful image and very well executed. If I had to look at the image alone without the titile, I'm not sure a dead end would ever come to mind but on a more vague challenge entry I rank it very highly... very well done... :)

OOOooh. My favorite National Park. Just where is this trail? This is a great angle of Half Dome.

Pretty picture with nice color and tone. Good depth of field. It does not seem like the end of the trail though, but a section.

Really great shot. I love yosemite. Have you climbed Halfdome yet? It is great! I saw a great t-shirt a long time ago and it said in BIG letters "I climbed Halfdome" and in small letters in between climbed and Halfdome it said "out of my car to take a picture of".

That has GOT to be the strangest view of Half Dome I've ever seen reporduced, and beliwve me I have seen quite a few :-) I'd love to see your "real" Yosemite shots from this jaunt, very promising sky.
