sometimes I think you push the envelope creatively and it doesn't work. But for some reason, the play of light maybe, this photo works superbly. It is just different, but not for its own sake.

the shot behind is good per se, but - contrary to the view of most commenteers - i find the plastic adding something to to it (originality, sort of fun, impact), not subtracting

Nice attempt with the cellophane, but it something is still wrong, probably the silhouette being lost agains the dark background on the left side of the image.

I think I would have liked this better if you hadn't put the plastic in front of it.

The view through the plastic is perfect for this shot. It highlights the sun, it frames the workers. Shows "garbage" as a thing as well as an interpretation of garbage unseen in the beach cleaners. My highest rated photo in this challenge. GOOD JOB!

i can't wait to find out how this effect was achieved. I think i would like to experiment with the same concept myself. Is it just cling wrap on the lens?

I wish they were not silhouettes, and I can't see any garbage.

Great idea. A good amount of detail captured in the plastic and, indeed, in the rest of the frame.I particularly like the lighting on the plastic. It really makes the shot.

Clever idea, but I think the original image is too dark when peoples heads get lost in the background. It is different and it does carry a message.

such a neat idea. wish the figures were not as dark against the rock so that they would pop out a bit more...

I really like how you are looking through garbage to take the shot. It makes your picture very original and unique.

THAT is a unique picture. I'm not exactly sure what the plastic is but I'm sure you'll let us know after the challenge. This is one of the best photos here. Nice job. Top three from me.
I give you a 10.

So, were the subjects in the photo asking you why you had plastic on your camera? :P I hope you took photos without the plastic because this looks beautiful. I also think you could have submitted it without the plastic covers--I can see that the subjects are carrying garbage bags. I'm betting on a top 10 finish on this one.

Mom always said to not put plastic bags over your head. I'm thinking the same theory applies to your camera. ;) I would really love this shot but the plastic is not doing much for me. 5
