A very good study to portray an uncertain mood with negative options. Bump. |

what amazing depth of field, the figure seems so ghostly and yet so real! I like the burned sky and the composition. The edges seem just a bit oversharpened, noise wise... |

Great abstraction! I love the way the lines work in this image. I really feel separated from the man--there's a lot between him and me and the disconnect is very telling. |

nice composition. Subject could have been in focus and added to the impact for me but otherwise well done... :) |

Very nice & interesting composition but this doesn't really say 'dead end' to me. |

I keep bumping this one up. At first I didn't like it, but the composition is well done. I don't really like the title, but I try not to hold that against people. It's a pretty loose interpretation of "dead end", but I'm taking all comers this challenge. The best part is how the lines frame and trap the subject. 7 |

Something about this picture I just love. Very emotive! I keep coming back to it. I'll comment more later. Nice job. |

If this didn't have a great title, I probably would score it a tad lower. It explains it without it going on and on. I like the blurred figure at the top and the focused metal railings. Nicely done. |
