Sweet shot Jimmy! The image grain works well and perfectly for this image. The sky above the shack is overexposed IMHO so maybe a bit of burning is required. Love the nostalgia this image conveys :) |

Hehehe - great title! I haven't seen the original shot, but I do like this processing. I do, however, feel like it's a little flat. I think it's because of where the tree to the left is with respect to the outhouse. I wish it were back further, but that's not exactly something you could fix. Maybe if you shot it from a slightly different angle, from the right of the outhouse, so that the tree would appear to be a bit further behind it? But then your lighting might have been off. I don't know... just some random thoughts. |

hehe, Pretty cool shot :-) I really like the tone here, has a great feel and suits the image well. Really nice, interesting presentation of a 'crappy' subject ;-) hehehe. I like it. I have actually thought of wanting to do a shot like this, but, we just don't have quaint, charming, cool outhouses like that around these parts :-P Some parts almost look on the verge of being oversharpened, but that may just be due to personal taste. Nice job. |
