With this submission I decided to try something different...creating a landscape in the tradition of the Hudson River school of painting from the mid-1800s. Nature as theme, grand scale, human beings and buildings minimized, romanticism, etc.

I took a chance with this one - trying to emulate a painting style and using a lot of sky in a "landscape". Thanks for the comments...I particularly appreciated those that indicated that the commenters understood what I was up to.

I know the painting your title speaks off, you have captured the sky well enough but I feel you lost the Hills in the process. Well done though.
