 Placed onion skin on a mirror, tented mirror with white drawing paper, and on one side placed a large blue vase for background color. Used a flashlight for highlights.

Levels, contrast, curves, smart sharpen, and a dose of Noise Ninja.

Pretty beautiful for garbage, curve and reflection is somewhat reminiscent of a sea shell.

the focus and sharpness is great in this picture. i liked the contrast of bacground blue to light brown of onion skin. real nice capture, 8.

A nice macro, well lit. If I had to nit-pick, I'd point out that there are what appears to be a few dust spots on your sensor.

6 - Good idea. Criticism; difficult, but perhaps a little more defintion and 'contrast'. Some 'minor dust', etc visible, but otherwise a good concept. Perhaps, in this instance, some type of frame might have helped, possibly even a different colored background, although not sure on that.

I really like this, the light shining through the peel really shows off the texture. I cant tell but it looks like the focus is a little off. I cant really tell so it didnt effect your score. Great shot

This was a really great reflection. I loved the blue background and its contrast to the onion skin. Lighting was very good as well. 10
