Wow! Big Sur! One of the most scenic spots on the planet! And you choose to photograph sunlight bouncing around inside your lens. ;-) (Pardpn my sarcasm...it's a rhetorical device and not intended to be harsh or hurtful.)
Careful tweaking of this image with with the Photoshop 'curves' controls will separate the fore-, middle-, and backgrounds, and improve the image greatly, IMO. |

I'm not sure if I like the lens flare, or not... it's certainly adds drama, but there isn't really anything to hold my interest too much |

There is no detail any where in this shot - not in the sky, not in the hills, not in the foreground. |

I love the rays of sun covering the landscape. Too bad you couldn't spot edit the flash to the left out. |

The sunrays coming over the top of the hills are very beautiful. The strong sun at this angle has taken all the detail out of the hills and sky. Perhaps a composition that enhanced what is happening at the valley near the sunrays. |
