Wow! Big Sur! One of the most scenic spots on the planet! And you choose to photograph sunlight bouncing around inside your lens. ;-) (Pardpn my sarcasm...it's a rhetorical device and not intended to be harsh or hurtful.)

Careful tweaking of this image with with the Photoshop 'curves' controls will separate the fore-, middle-, and backgrounds, and improve the image greatly, IMO.

I'm not sure if I like the lens flare, or not... it's certainly adds drama, but there isn't really anything to hold my interest too much

There is no detail any where in this shot - not in the sky, not in the hills, not in the foreground.

I love the rays of sun covering the landscape. Too bad you couldn't spot edit the flash to the left out.

The sunrays coming over the top of the hills are very beautiful. The strong sun at this angle has taken all the detail out of the hills and sky. Perhaps a composition that enhanced what is happening at the valley near the sunrays.
