Rats in an exhibit at a wildlife exhibition,
thankfully there was glass between me and them or you wouldn't get me anywhere near them!!

For all those who thought the lurker was dead he (she) was very much alive but dozing.
The exhibit was laid out like the inside of a garden shed with lots of rubbish etc.with lots of rats running around. however all my pictures of these were blurred due to the long exposure--except this one which had just woken up and couldn't be bothered to move

Love the light and the textures:rust, wood, fur. But, dead or alive...enquiring minds want to know.

Good shot and well balanced color. I wish the critter could be in a little better focus. But nice job.

Hmmm, looks more like he's napping rather than lurking. :)
Still, it's unique.

I really like the feel of this shot. (That mouse looks asleep or dead)

You must have that mouse trained really well for it to stay so still and pretend it's sleeping. Hee hee. Disgusting subject, but nice photo! :) I like the clarity and rusty feeling.

an interesting shot. i don't like the massive shadow in the middle, and the rat is blurred (which obviously isn't your fault -- unless it's dead). decent picture!

You've got more courage than I do -- I hate rodents! Eyes nicely in focus. Interesting composition. But, as you might guess, I wouldn't want it up on my wall!

interesting...but I swear that rat on the right looks dead (or dying!)

This is a great photograph. I love the rust and decay portrayed in the picture and how the subject (mouse) is laying down as if it were utterly content.

Cool rats. I worked at a cannery one summer while in college and there were many rats on the loading dock. They were a lot meaner than these ones appear to be. Are these tame or feral rats - the one with it's face showing actually looks kind of friendly!
