 Didn't really have any particular reason to submit this photo. There was only one really good day to take photos, and I had to work the whole day. So I took off on my lunch break to shoot a few, and this is what I came up with. I don't expect it to do too well, but I wanted to get something in, and I don't think it is a horrible shot.

Great clouds and the combine adds that little extra touch. Plains, mountains, farm equipment, broad sky. Whats not to love?

One of my favorite. It's easy to focus just on the sky and not realize the depth of this photo, with those large mountains in the background. Gotta love super-wides. Great job!

This looks like the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Wherever it is, it's a terrific image. I love the fact that relegation of the 'land' part of the landscape to the bottom 20% of the frame actually makes it look even more spectacular. It emphasises the wonderful depth of the scene. Nice work. 7

A wonderful piece, the tractor adds a great sense of scale which really transforms this from a good shot to an outstanding one.

Interesting scene, but I think the clouds might be a little too overbearing. I want to see more of the tractor and the texture in the field, but it's hard to look at anything but the clouds.

Location? A lot of sky but it has detail. Very dramatic. The clouds have 3D. Top 10 to me.

I think the photo might be improved by cropping out the uppermost layer of clouds. What remains is beautiful.
