Way too busy this week and took this "snapshot" the morning of garbage day. I like this in black and white - though the image itself is not very intersting at all - at least this version has the colors of the trees going for it.

Thanks to all my neighbors - our garbage is actually the one in the middle with the pizza box sticking out on top :)

All auto settings on camera and natural light.

Crop, saturation, blackpoint, contrast, gamma, despeckle, sharpen, re-size, border.

This captures the essence of Garbage. And you did it with color and style. I like it very much - ought to be in the top three.

too much saturation...I have never seen purple pavement before.

Nice. My only beef is with the shadows. They're too dark.

This might be a double post, somehow my original message got screwed up by my web browser.

There is something very odd about this picture, looks like a painting and not a photograph, did you use some kind of filter to achieve this or just too much contrast? To be honest I don´t like it but don´t think it´s awful either, just not my cup of tea so I gave it a 5. Meets the challenge though, that is certain.

Great colours in the trees.May be this would work a little better if the houses weren't in the left of the frame, so that the garbage would be juxtaposed directly with those lovely autumn colours.

For me it would br a much stronger image if the left third were cropped away.

I think a bit too much highlights on the trash (looks a bit outblown to me).

Alright. This meets the challenge very well. Nice job taking a photo with more than just trash in it, yet the focus is on the garbage. Good one.
